• To establish an Ubuntu community in Cagayan de Oro.
• To create awareness on open source.
• To propagate the use of open source applications.
• To educate the community on open source model.
• To promote open source as an alternative solution to proprietary (covered by intellectual property right) software / applications.
• To open doors of opportunities for open-source users and developers.
• To contribute to the development of the open-source.
• To organize local technical support groups (Developers, network administrators, web developers & etc) for open-source users.
