Recent updates for the ORObuntu community.

Minutes of the meeting held last Sept. 8, 6pm @ LKK-Bo's Coffee Club

In light of the recent activites from other major ceities of the Philippines, Open source communities are glowing and flourishing. With this regard, the ORObuntu would come up with new ideas to promote OS in Cagayan de Oro. 

New thrusts for the Orobuntu community:

1. Information campaign

1.a  Everyone is invited to join group meetings which will be announced on the board or forums. It would be best to bring recruits.

1.b  Members are to required to support and are invited to join every activity designed by the group 

2. Collaboration and Linkages

2.a Attend IT conferences or Summit

2.b Seek promotions from members who have access to IT related conferences.

2.c Seek invitations from Government and non-Government offices for training and workshops. 

3. Continue in evanglizing OS programs.

3.a Continue delivering trainings, seminars, and workshops on OS products especially on Office Productivity Suites

3.b Establish a pool of trainors and experts.

 To all members and those concerned, please help and support ORObuntu and it's goals for the growth of OS community in cagayan de oro.
